Riley Hunting Company
A Better Man Hunts
The goal of RHC is to provide you with a great hunting experience: family-style dinners, campfires to swap stories, the occasional bourbon to warm the belly (and maybe make the deer in those stories a little bit bigger), and, of course, the hunt itself. There's always a bond that forms around the hunt that's hard to describe. For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not, no explanation is possible.

We also believe hunters understand and can teach land conservation better than most anyone you will meet. We would like to think we know a bit about hunting but there's always something - a trick, a sign, a pattern or tell - that we may have missed. We have all had those humbling hunting moments (and any friend worth their salt will definitely bring it up for you around the campfire!) At RHC we believe that "as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17). We get better as men (and women) every year and every year we look forward to the experience! We'd love for you to join us.
RHC is situated on 120 acres of timber, grass land and clover fields. We are 5 miles from the Iowa border just south of Mount Sterling. On the northern tip of the property, we have our cabin that comfortably fits 4-5 hunters and overlooks a 1.5 acre stocked pond (if you tag out, grab a pole and head down for a little shore fishing). We have 3 bedrooms; 2 bathrooms; a comfortable living room; and a full kitchen and laundry. (We have also installed an FCC-compliant cell booster and wireless access to make sure you can stay connected, watch the big game or post those trophy pictures). We will get you started each day with breakfast; pack you out with a lunch and snacks; and after dark we will have a family-style dinner prepared by the lovely Mrs. Riley.
We have 6 box blinds overlooking clover fields and 4 tree stands situated (we believe) on high traffic deer trails. Each box blind will come equipped with a Mr. Heater and two chairs (one even has a bunk bed) so, make yourself comfortable and get one on the ground!
